Broadly speaking, the Google Zeitgeist provides information (summary data) about the most search or the top searches on the previous year. So Zeitgest, is a collection of the most search in 2013 (one year in the past).
This feature is very nice and suitable for those of you who want to do research on what topics most interest / search the most in the past year. And can be used as a reference or comparison for this year.
Google Zeitgeist also suitable for the webmaster or content writer, because it will add to their targeted topic, so that the author can further sharpen the discussion that has been successful in the previous year. And can be used to make a good Infographic.
And more interestingly, all presented in a visual search . Either through pictures and video. And it is certainly going to facilitate you to flashback memories you about interesting things in the past.
