LG L90 comes with Quad-Core and Kitkat

Chinese Droid - LG has prepared their newest Android smartphone that targeting the Mid-level segment. Known as the L-Series , LG issued 3 products which are the L40, L70 and L90. But this time we will discuss the L90.

Born into a family of L-Series , LG prepares L90 as their with a mid-size of the middle class market. Because this is the L-Series, then LG L90 will using the specifications which are still far below of the LG G-series, therefore, the LG entrust 1.2GHz Quad-Core processing chip as it brain. There is no certainty what chips are used, whether MediaTek or Qualcomm. But the more I believe LG will use Mediatek chip MTK 6589 1.2 GHz quad-core processors with PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU. And if its true, then the L90 will be enough to devour medium 3d HD games nowadays.

In addition, the L90 also provides 8GB internal memory and up to 32GB of external memory. Using 1GB of RAM, this phone will certainly stable enough to run the latest Android OS. Yes, LG has pre-installed this phone with Android KitKat 4.4, the latest version of Android OS. As we know that KitKat is the latest version of Android developed by Google with excess to be run on phone with little memory, so it will not be a problem in L90.

For connectivity, LG L90 provides a 3G connection with Micro SIM in Single micro SIM, WiFi b/g/n and Bluetooth v3. For entertainment features in addition to HD Video player, Music, L90 also has a Stereo FM radio.

Not complete if it does not have a camera, therefore LG prepares L90 with a rear camera which using a resolution of 8 Megapixel with LED flash and 1.3 megapixel for front camera. But we have not yet find an example of the picture taken by this phone, since the smartphone is not yet available in the market.

On the Side of display, L90 comes with a LCD Capacitive screen with IPS type measuring 4.7 inches, QHD resolution of 960x540 pixels, ~ 234 ppi. I value this combination is still quite good considering that nearly 5 inches wide LG could just use the HD resolution. But I quite liked the phone itself with this screen size ( or below ) because it is still feasible to use with one hand, even more can be easily stored on Pocket pants.

In addition, LG adding sensors like Accelerometer and Proximitry. A GPS with support for A-GPS. And for the battery, LG using the type of Standard Li-on Battery with 2540 mAh. I think its enough for a day with 3G active standby and a few minutes of gaming and browsing the Internet.

LG will release L90 at the Mobile World Congress ( MWC 2014 ) in Barcelona. So wait for the latest news from me.
