Tizen OS will support Android apps

Chinese Droid - Chinese Droid - It turns out that the Samsung is very serious in developing their Operating System "Tizen". Not only will support to multiple platforms such as smartphones, netbooks, Smart TV and In-Vehicle Systems, Tizen will also be able to run a variety of applications that are not made with Tizen itself.

According to the information we have quoted from media ZDNET through tech.163.com site. Tizen will support applications that run on the Android OS platform. This means that smartphone which has Tizen OS installed will be able to install and run applications or android games .

Not so surprising really, considering Geeksphone is also launching a linux OS that is able to run android files. Or even Blackberry that has compiler to make android app can be played on Blackberry OS. But of course it is different if a company as big as Samsung's will release Tizen to the market. It would be very easy to flood the market with all of their existing resources. And it could be, it would be a lot of handsets that have two ecosystems.

It is actually quite understandable, given the fact that Tizen is very new OS and certainly not have a lot of applications ready to use. Therefore, with the new feature on OS, will make it quickly accepted in the market. It is directly proportional to the demand market where people tend to want to be free in exploring their smartphone.

It remains unclear what effect that will negatively received by Android with the advent of the dual capability of Tizen OS 's ecosystem. But, of course, nothing is perfect . Google also have their own methods to continue developing the Android OS to attract people.

Tizen itself is not really new OS. Developed on the base of MeeGo OS that Nokia has been long abandoned, it is now samsung collaborate with Intel to strengthen Tizen handsets to hit the market with a more diverse selection. Although Tizen is also an Open Source, but for now it only accessed by the two duet, Samsung and Intel.

Samsung plans to release a smartphone based Tizen OS at MWC 2014 in Barcelona .
